Product Range Controllers & Amplifiers
SMAC supply a variety of controllers and amplifiers to support their Actuators. The controllers allow code to be stored in non-volatile RAM which is then used to enable movements to be made in 3 different modes. These modes are desdribed in detail on the technical info page.
| LAC1 | A single axis controller with 8 TTL I/O channels, 3 analogue I/P channels and RS232 interface. |
| LAC-1 High speed controller single axis c/w built in amp |
|
| LAC25 | A dual axis controller with 4 opto isolated I/O channels, 2 analogue I/O channels and RS232 interface. The LAC25 can be used to control either a single Linear/Roatary actuator or alternatively two independant Linear actuators. It is also necessary for grippers. |
| LAC-25 As above but dual axis |
|
| LAA5 | A stand alone single axis amplifier which can be used in conjunction with any propriertary controller. It provides +/-10Volt I/P, 3amp O/P. |
| LAA-5 Amplifier |
|
| LAD1 | The LAD1 is used to convert stepper inputs to 3amp servo output. This is particularly useful wherever a SMAC unit is retrofitted to, or integrated into a stepper driven machine. |
| LAD-1 Smart Driver |
|
MIO E-8/8 | If more I/O channels are required then the MIO can be linked to either the LAC1 and LAC25 to give 16 I/O channels. Please note: This replaces the MIO16-R2 |
| MIO E - 8/8 16 Channel I/O Expansion Module |
